Join us on Friday, April 5th, to celebrate Arab American Heritage Night as the Washington Wizards take on the Portland Trail Blazers at Capital One Arena at 7 pm (doors open at 6 pm).
Congressional Iftar
The annual Congressional Iftar celebrates the Muslim members of Congress and the rich cultural heritage they bring to the nation's legislative body. This year’s guest speaker is Jasmine Hawamdeh, delivering a presentation of her collection Awakening Voices: Gaza Unveiled. The event aims to be a beautiful blend of tradition, artistry, and recognition, fostering a deeper appreciation for the diversity within the halls of Congress.
An Ode to Palestinian Resilience
WCL MLSA at American University presents An Ode to Palestinian Resilience: An exploration of Law, History and Culture ft. a panel of expert guest speakers from diverse legal and humanitarian backgrounds.
Speakers include Isra Chaker, Rawda Fawaz, Diala Ghneim and Jasmine Hawamdeh.

Join us for art, installations, a film screening, poetry and soulful music in solidarity with Palestine, Sudan, Congo and all of the nations that are in need of our voices.
There will be ARTIST PRINTS for sale and MERCH so BRING CASH! EMT accepted on site as well as SQAURE card reader.
Prices will range from $20-$80.
Poetry performances will begin at 8pm!
All funds raised will be donated to the following charities: PCRF/SAPA/FRIENDS OF THE CONGO
